Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how owuff (“owuff”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit owuff.com (the “Site”). owuff is an online directory of dog parks, animal shelters, veterinarians, and pet daycare & boarding facilities across the United States. By using the Site, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide. If you submit a listing, use our contact form, or email us, we collect the information you choose to share — such as your name, email address, and any business or listing details you enter.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, an approximate location derived from it, your device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you interact with the Site.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Site and understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage patterns. If you follow an affiliate link (see below), the partner may set cookies to attribute a resulting purchase. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.

How we use information

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:

Listing content (such as place names, addresses, ratings, and photos) is sourced in part from third parties, including the Google Places API, and is subject to those providers’ terms.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. If and when we join the Amazon Associates Program, we will show the required disclosure — that as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases — on the pages that include Amazon links. Affiliate relationships never determine which listings appear or how they are ranked.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. California residents may request to know, delete, or opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA; we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of analytics/advertising cookies. To exercise any right, email us at contact@owuff.com. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Site and for the purposes described here, unless a longer retention period is required by law. We retain aggregated or de-identified analytics data as needed to understand and improve the Site.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Users outside the United States

The Site is currently intended for users in the United States, and information is processed in the U.S. If we begin offering the Site to users in other regions (for example, the European Union), we will update this Policy with the additional terms that apply there, including any consent and legal-basis requirements.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party websites (including listings’ own sites and affiliate partners). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
